Dr. Joseph Phillips is most passionate about volunteering with Thousand Smiles Clinic in Ensenada, Mexico, where he provides life-changing orthodontic care to needy children. The Thousand Smiles Foundation, a non-profit organization created by the Rotary Club of National City, California, focuses on offering free surgical and dental care to children from financially challenged families, particularly those suffering from maxillofacial deformities such as cleft palate and cleft lip.

Through his work with Thousand Smiles, Dr. Phillips joins a team of passionate professionals committed to improving the lives of these beautiful children by offering no-cost orthodontic treatment coordinated with in-house dentists and surgeons. From getting braces to graduation day, he treats these patients to develop a healthy, confident smile. This treatment is imperative to an excellent long-term outcome for cleft lip and palate patients. At Phillips Family Orthodontics, we are honored to be part of a noble cause that aligns with our mission to provide quality, compassionate care to those who need it most.
